GameFocus is an independent site about sports betting, bookmakers and betting strategy. We write for adult readers who bet consciously and want to compare operators, understand the rules, and avoid the typical money-losing mistakes.
Every material that affects a reader decision (bookmaker ranking, bonus review, prediction) is sourced from one of:
Disputed numbers (odds, bonus amounts, payout times) are verified on the operator side before publication. Screenshots and copies of rules are kept by the author for possible verification.
Some bookmaker links are affiliate. When a reader registers and deposits via such a link, GameFocus receives a commission. All affiliate links are tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" and labelled Ad or Partner.
Partnerships do not influence rankings or reviews. If editorial has factual complaints about an operator (frozen withdrawal, aggressive promo, weak support), those appear in the review regardless of partner status.
Most articles are signed by a named author (author page with article list and bio). Author names and photos are real. AI assistants (Claude, GPT) are used for drafts but every published material is edited by a human; articles where AI was the primary source are flagged.
Bookmaker terms change — bonuses, limits, markets. We revisit critical articles every 30–90 days and update dateModified. Pages with historical errors (wrong odds, outdated limit) get a Correction block with date and description of the change.
We do not promote betting as a way to make money and we do not publish "guaranteed strategy" pieces. Every material that drives registration carries an 18+ reminder and a link to our responsible gambling page. If a reader needs help we point to gambling-help.org and national helplines.
