Short version

GameFocus earns affiliate commission when a reader signs up and deposits at a bookmaker through one of our links. This is the site's primary revenue source. The partnership does not influence rankings or reviews (see Editorial Policy).

How it works

When you click a «Get bonus» button or a bookmaker link, we pass the partner a unique identifier (subid). If you register and deposit, the operator sends a conversion report and pays a commission.
Your price does not change. Bonuses, limits and odds are the same as for any other player. The commission is a marketing cost on the operator side.
Affiliate links always carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and open in a new tab.

Compliance: FTC and UK CAP

We comply with FTC Disclosure 16 CFR Part 255 (US) and the UK CAP Code for affiliate content. Every page with affiliate links carries a visible «sponsored»tag or a banner with 18+ and risk reminders. The affiliate status of an operator is never hidden.

What does NOT make us biased

Commission size does not move a bookmaker up the ranking. If an operator pays more but loses on KYC, withdrawals or support, it drops down the review.
We publish criticism of partners: withdrawal delays, aggressive promos, dubious bonus terms. If a partnership guaranteed a good review, this policy could not exist.
The «Avoid» / «Blacklist» section includes former partners we cut off after they broke commitments to players.

What is NOT an affiliate link

Links to regulator sites (UKGC, MGA, Curacao eGaming).
Links to statistics resources (FBref, Sofascore, Transfermarkt, FIFA).
Internal GameFocus links to articles, team pages, strategy reviews.
Problem-gambling help services (gambling-help.org, GamCare, BeGambleAware).

Responsible gambling

A partnership with a bookmaker does not override the principles of responsible gambling. Any material that leads to registration carries an 18+ reminder, country restrictions, and links to support services. If betting stops being entertainment, get help before it starts costing you more money.
